Live in Italy,
legally and confidently.
Whether you're moving to Italy from outside the EU or relocating from within, IREA handles every step of the visa and residency process. From initial eligibility through final permit issuance.
A visa is a process, not a form.
The right visa depends on who you are and what you bring: passive income, remote work, investment, family ties, or an EU passport. Each route has its own evidence, its own consulate, its own permesso di soggiorno to convert on arrival. We match you to the category that actually fits, assemble the file so it clears first time, and carry it through to the residence permit and beyond.

Category & eligibility
We confirm which visa you qualify for and what each requires: income thresholds, accommodation, insurance, a clean record. The wrong category is the most common reason a file fails.
- Application
Consulate application
The visa is applied for at the Italian consulate for your jurisdiction. We assemble and legalise the dossier, book the appointment, and prepare you for it.
- Arrival
Entry & permesso request
Within 8 days of arriving you lodge the permesso di soggiorno request at the Questura. The kit is filed, fingerprints booked, and the receipt is your interim status.
- Permesso
Residence permit issued
The permesso is collected at the Questura, residence registered at the comune, and renewals tracked. From here the tax code, healthcare and the path to long-term residence open up.
